Settlement between the Chyrów and Dobromil kahals regarding the Jewish poll tax

The Dobromil elders made a settlement regarding the Jewish poll tax with the community of Chyrów (together with the leaseholders from the subordinate villages). The Jews of Chyrów together with the local leaseholders and those of Bąkowice pledged to pay 80 zlotys in two installments each year, whereas the leaseholders from Suszyca, Terło, and Krościenko pledged to pay 40 zlotys to the Dobromil kahal. The money due was to be delivered directly to Dobromil. The local kahal was not suppose to issue assignations to Chyrów and leaseholders for military deputies. The settlement was confirmed in 1744.
